Amsterdam Day 1

We have already squeezed a lot of walking and sightseeing into our first full day and a half here in Amsterdam. Anne Frank house, Rembrandt house, walks along the canal and a boat ride this afternoon. The thing I’m most amazed about so far is the number of bicyclists in the city and the fact that we haven’t been run over by one yet. And I had forgotten about how light it stays in the evening.

Sounds awesome! We loved Amsterdam (mom, elizabeth and I)…spent a week there and felt like we were locals by the time we left. Headed to Figure 8 tomorrow for the weekend. Keep us posted on the Africa journey..tell everyone I said HI!! Be safe and take good care..Connell

Looks like everyone is smiling and having fun – glad to see that. I have imagined the flight into Africa and can only think that the view as you fly over will be overwhelming beauty – what an amazing opportunity to see the world from a totally different perspective. I know you will all continue to enjoy the trip and I can’t wait to see pictures and hear all about the entire Africa experience!
