Off we went to Tanzania from Hippo Pointe to spenda few days in a “fly camp” deep in the Nyamlumbwa hills of the northern Serengeti. By fly camp I mean a bit more rustic and wild than our other camping experiences but no less exciting! As with the other camps, we went for daily game drives, had drinks around a campfire and dinner outdoors under the glorious Tanzanian stars. This camp had a beautiful view of the hills and plenty of sounds of wild animals including the mighty lion. Again, a bevy of game; elephants, zebra, giraffe, rhinos, baboon, Thompson’s gazelle,leopard and the migrating wildebeest. And a python for excitement!
